Sport at Silverdale School
Silverdale School acknowledges the importance of children having an active, balanced lifestyle. Sport is a key area of focus for our school and we enjoy significant participation rates from students in organised out of school sports.
Our aim is to encourage fair play and sportsmanship, whilst providing the opportunity for children to develop social, communication, teamwork and a range of sport specific skills in a friendly, fun environment.
There are three ways in which your children can participate in sport
1. During school hours and organised by Silverdale School
Check out the weekly newsletter, events calendar, and syndicate newsletter for in-school sports events like Cross Country, Athletics and Swimming.
2. Out of school hours, where the teams are organised by parents
To find out more about each sport, what’s involved, registration and season dates please click on the links below
3. Out of school hours, where the teams are run by Sports Clubs OR are family fun events
Here is a list of everything we’re aware of in our local area.
