Country Show Day (CSD) – School holiday activities:

Jolly Jars, this is a fabulous activity for the school holidays.  

 

Please bring them in when we return back to school.  This is a very popular stall at CSD. 

 

The jar can be filled with a lot of goodies for example; lollies, hair accessories, lip balm, crayons, cute items for school, little dinosaurs or cars.    We have received some amazing jars in the past that have been themed, Halloween and Christmas themed jars are a hit.   Or baking ingredients for cookies or chocolate brownies for the purchaser to make at home, all they have to do is add milk, egg or butter.    For more inspiration search jolly jars on Google or Pinterest. 

 

‘Thank You’ certificate competition. 

 

We are on the hunt for a new certificate we can use as a thank you to all the wonderful sponsors and to all the businesses that donate to CSD. 

 

The winner will receive a $25 Prezzy Card. 

 

The criteria is:

• Picture needs to be drawn on an A4 (landscape) sheet of plain paper. 
• Must include the wording ‘Thank you for supporting Silverdale School – Country Show Day 2023’.  Please check your spelling.  School logo is an extra bonus
• Art work will need to be handed to the school office by Monday, 9 October (first day of term 4).
• Must be the child’s own artwork – parents can help with writing the words for our younger students.
