Welcome

Welcome to Paris Te Pairi, Dash Matchon, Alexa Cook and Dylan Cook who started with us this week. Our current roll is 777.

Daffodil Day 31 August

Cancer impacts so many of us in New Zealand, with a heart-breaking 74 people diagnosed each day. The Cancer Society is here to help and support people with cancer and their whānau.

With your support, every dollar raised for Daffodil Day will go towards cancer care for patients and their whānau, education and awareness programmes, and life-saving cancer research.

Please help Silverdale School to raise money to support the cancer Society’s work in Auckland. With your support, every dollar raised for Daffodil Day will go towards cancer care for patients and their whānau, education and awareness programmes, and life-saving cancer research.

On Friday 31 August Silverdale School will hold a mufti day. Please encourage your child to dress in bright colours to symbolise Spring and to show their support for the Cancer Society on Daffodil Day. As well as bringing in a gold coin donation, we ask that you make a contribution via our fundraising page  https://daffodilday.org.nz/silverdale-school or scan the below QR code to go to our fundraising page.

Where: Room 31/33 (Far end of the kura on the ground floor)

When: Open on Thursday 22 August from 8:30am to 4pm for whānau to freely come and view the artworks with their tamariki.

Please note:

Between 9:15am and 3pm you may come directly to your child’s class, sign in there, and take your child through the exhibit, returning them to class when you are done.
