SENIOR INTERSCHOOL ATHLETICS DAY

35 of our top athletes took part in the Interschool Athletics on Thursday 23 November. The day saw us come away with some podium results. 

Mikayla Strydom 1st in the Year 5 800m

Gemma Dunn 2nd in the Year 6 800m

Archie Connolly 3rd in the Year 6 80m sprint

Elias Metzger Feki 2nd in the Year 5 high jump

Josh Johansen 1st in the Year 6 high jump

Nothing was left on the field, everyone was exhausted from their efforts. Special thanks to Kerry Edmondson and Rachael Murray who took time to help out as parent helpers on the day.

JUNIOR ATHLETICS & OUR AMAZING SENIORS

Last week the Junior end of the school held an Athletics Fun Day with the Year 0-1’s on Tuesday and the Year 2-3’s on the Wednesday. The children completed activities based on the senior athletics events with both cohorts having a fun day with their friends. Great to see so many parents come along to support and even participate in the parent race that every kid loves watching. 

Special thanks goes to a group of seniors who ran the events for the children so the teachers could focus on supporting their students. Without you, these days wouldn’t have been as enjoyable.
